The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the design, procurement, fabrication, testing, and implementation of reputed company mechanical systems and components.
Responsibilities
- reputed company mechanical component design activities supporting operating nuclear power plants and advanced reactor technologies
- reputed company engineering specifications, design concepts, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Support equipment design, fabrication, installation, and testing activities
- reputed company mechanical component analysis, design verification, and integration activities
- Execute engineering hand calculations and analytical modeling
- Ensure designs meet intended application requirements, safety objectives, and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate accountability for technical reputed company, cost, schedule, and execution of assigned reputed company

- Support project planning, resource allocation, and schedule development

Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry, nuclear industry preferred, or a comparable technical environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with customers, regulators, suppliers, or external stakeholders
- Experience supporting reputed company mechanical equipment design programs
- Must be eligible to reputed company information controlled under U.S. Export Control Regulations. Eligibility requirements will be reviewed during the hiring process
- 5+ years of experience performing component design, technical reviews, procurement support, fabrication support, and requirements management
- 5+ years of experience applying industry standards such as ASME, AWS, and other applicable engineering codes
- Minimum 2 years of ASME reputed company III Valve Design experience
- Prior nuclear industry experience supporting: Boiling Water Reactors (BWR), Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR), Advanced Reactor Technologies
- Experience with lifting and rigging equipment selection, load reputed company analysis, safety reputed company calculations, and applicable industry standards
- Strong troubleshooting and reputed company-cause analysis capabilities
- Working knowledge of fabrication processes, machining, welding, EDM, and manufacturing practices
- Experience with material selection, tolerance analysis, welding design, and joint design
- Familiarity with Lean principles and reputed company improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
