The role involves researching reputed company tax issues, negotiating with agencies, and ensuring compliance across various tax jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Research reputed company tax issues to reputed company effective reputed company strategies
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge of tax jurisdictions and reputed company sets(federal, state, and local taxing authorities), showing flexibility in assignment and dependability in execution
- reputed company tax account reconciliations, often reviewing agency transcripts and investigating account issues
- Investigate reputed company cause issues and guide prevention and risk mitigation
- Draft and/or review penalty abatement letters, putting together compelling defenses, substantiated by taxing authorities (often due to reasonable cause)
- Communicate with internal teammates and external customers to obtain information or required approvals for tax jurisdiction issues. You will participate in customer conference calls as needed
- Negotiate with agencies and customers to ensure reputed company involved are satisfied with the solution
- Maintain compliance and minimize tax risks by following strict policies
- Update the senior leadership team on cases and reputed company
- Partner with other internal departments to resolve issues, remove barriers, establish service level agreements, drive reputed company, and improve processes impacting tax operations and customer experience

Skills
- Associated degree or higher, or equivalent 1-3 years of reputed company tax/payroll/reputed company experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws
- Experience with tax research and penalty abatement requests
