[Remote] GAAP Accountant

The GAAP Accountant will work with the reputed company Manager to build out the reputed company function and manage key aspects of the financial reputed company process, applying GAAP knowledge to daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly reputed company reputed company process. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal company policies. Deliver accurate information on time
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for cash accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and expense accruals
- Support improvements to existing reputed company processes with a reputed company on effective internal controls
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and footnotes
- Improve workpapers and processes utilized to reputed company specific accounts, including leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with the Finance team to analyze historical results and improve information reputed company
- Participate in reputed company around automation, system implementation, and best practices to drive efficiency in the reputed company department
- Assist with reputed company reputed company and requests as needed
- Support other internal teams with their reputed company-reputed company, operational needs
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance, or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant reputed company experience is required
- Strong foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Ability to apply technical reputed company knowledge to reputed company-world business transactions
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal) to deliver information effectively and collaborate across teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation of work performed
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members
