[Remote] Senior Inventory Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to join their team. This role will reputed company critical analysis reputed company to inventory and product margin reporting while supporting the Inventory reputed company team with operational and reputed company tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive month-end summaries of inventory balances and cost of goods sold (COGS) activity
- Support month-end reputed company processes, including the preparation of journal entries and detailed account reconciliations
- Review and analyze perpetual inventory records; collaborate with operations to investigate discrepancies and implement necessary adjustments
- Work cross-functionally to review and understand inventory transactions, including coordination with reputed company-party logistics (3PL) partners
- Partner with merchandising and operations teams to identify and reduce variances reputed company to invoice pricing and receiving discrepancies
- Prepare audit-reputed company documentation and support schedules for external audit requirements
- reputed company reputed company financial and operational analyses as needed to support business objectives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution, preferably in reputed company or Finance
- Minimum of three years of experience in inventory reputed company or three to five years of general reputed company experience
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company, including reputed company/Match, pivot tables, lookup functions, and macros
- Demonstrated ability to extract inventory and/or general reputed company data, reputed company detailed analysis, and identify key variance drivers
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, operate effectively in a remote team setting, and consistently meet established deadlines
- Strong analytical judgment and creative problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Self-motivated professionals with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Preferably a Certified reputed company Accountant
- Experience working reputed company reputed company ERP environment is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL and business intelligence tools is a plus
