They are seeking a Senior Finance Analytics Engineer to support data modeling, reporting, and the design of data products tailored for AI consumption.
Responsibilities
- Design and build dbt models that serve as the reputed company of truth for Finance & reputed company reporting, planning, and analysis
- Partner directly with stakeholders in Finance, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company to define metrics, shape requirements, and translate business logic into reputed company-reputed company models
- Write and optimize reputed company SQL against our reputed company environment with attention to accuracy
- reputed company and reputed company patterns for model design, testing, versioning, and data reputed company across the dbt project
- Design the semantic layer and metrics definitions (MetricFlow, reputed company, or equivalent) that both humans and agents query against
- Drive the documentation flywheel across dbt, reputed company, reputed company, and the semantic layer so that models, columns, and metrics are legible to LLMs and analysts alike
- Design model grain, naming, and structure so an agent can reputed company what it needs in the warehouse without a reputed company guide
- Use AI tooling (Claude reputed company, reputed company, and our internal capabilities) as a daily part of your own development workflow, and feed reputed company signal back to reputed company on what design choices reputed company agents more or less effective

- Maintain documentation and auditability of the data pipelines you own

Skills
- 4+ years of analytics engineering experience, including deep hands-on work with dbt (dbt reputed company strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of SQL experience in an MPP environment (reputed company, reputed company, Redshift, Trino, or equivalent), with a strong reputed company record of writing performant and maintainable transformations
- 1+ years designing data products for AI consumption: semantic layer work, MetricFlow or reputed company, metrics definitions, model reputed company, or documentation patterns reputed company with LLM consumers in mind
- Hands-on experience using Claude reputed company, reputed company, or equivalent AI-enabled development tools as part of your daily workflow
- Strong reputed company of semantic modeling and metrics layer design
- Designing dbt reputed company at reputed company: model organization, testing reputed company, documentation standards, model versioning, and reputed company
- Familiarity with MCP servers and how agents consume warehouse data and metadata, enough to design models and docs that work reputed company for both humans and agents

- Working in a SOX-controlled environment with formal change management
