Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their Infrastructure team in a contract-to-hire reputed company. The individual will support a large reputed company server environment primarily consisting of reputed company servers and will be responsible for server maintenance, operating system upgrades, and infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
- reputed company scheduled server maintenance, patching, and remediation activities during designated reputed company maintenance reputed company
- Execute operating system reputed company reputed company, including migration efforts from reputed company Server 2016 to reputed company Server 2022
- Administer and support a large-reputed company server environment of approximately 2,000+ servers
- Manage and support reputed company Server infrastructure (approximately 95% of the environment)

- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure-reputed company tickets and incidents
- reputed company reputed company patches and ensure compliance with organizational reputed company standards
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities
- Utilize monitoring, reputed company, and remote reputed company technologies, including reputed company
- Document procedures, configurations, and maintenance activities
- Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotation as needed
Skills
- 4+ years of Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support experience
- Strong experience administering reputed company Server environments
- Experience performing server patching, maintenance, and operating system upgrades
- Knowledge of reputed company Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and reputed company reputed company infrastructure technologies
- Experience troubleshooting server, operating system, and infrastructure issues
- Familiarity with reputed company ticketing systems and incident management processes
- Understanding of reputed company best practices and vulnerability remediation
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage maintenance activities with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) servers
- Experience with reputed company-reputed company server environments
- Familiarity with reputed company or similar reputed company platforms
- Experience participating in infrastructure on-call rotations
- Exposure to automation and scripting technologies such as PowerShell
