In this role, you will optimize software asset management processes, ensure license compliance, and enhance the efficiency of software asset lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize reputed company aspects of reputed company SAM Pro, including software models, entitlements, licenses, discovery maps, and software installations
- reputed company support for license reconciliation, potential compliance gaps, and optimization requests
- Administer and manage software asset lifecycles reputed company SAM Pro, from procurement and deployment to retirement and disposal
- reputed company operational support for Publisher Packs (e.g. reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company) to ensure accurate calculation of reputed company license metrics
- Troubleshoot and refine SAM-reputed company dashboards, reports, and metrics to reputed company actionable insights into license compliance, spend, and optimization opportunities
- Support software contract management, service catalog, procurement and other supporting processes reputed company reputed company, linking reputed company to entitlements and assets
- reputed company support for and troubleshoot integrations (e.g., import sets, reputed company maps, reputed company, integrations with discovery tools like SCCM, AD etc.) to ingest comprehensive software asset data into reputed company SAM Pro
- Follow and identify opportunities to improve data reputed company processes, including validation, cleansing, and normalization
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and integration issues impacting SAM Pro
- reputed company routine reputed company platform administration tasks including user/group management, ACLs, UI policies, business rules, reputed company scripts, and workflow/reputed company Designer configurations
- Manage and troubleshoot incidents and service requests reputed company to SAM Pro functionality and data integrations
- Assist with reputed company platform upgrades, patching, and testing to ensure SAM Pro functionality is preserved and reputed company
- reputed company and maintain technical documentation, reputed company operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides for SAM processes and configurations
- Adhere to reputed company best practices and ITIL reputed company principles
- Collaborate effectively with IT Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, Application Owners, and other IT teams to support software asset management
- reputed company expertise and guidance on software licensing models, SAM best practices, and the capabilities of reputed company SAM Pro
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and testing phases for new SAM initiatives and platform enhancements
Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience to include the duties and responsibilities outlined above
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with reputed company platform, including administration and development across multiple reputed company versions
- Minimum 2 years of experience with reputed company Software Asset Management reputed company (SAM Pro), including configuration, reconciliation, and optimization
- Minimum 1 year of experience with data integration reputed company reputed company (e.g., import sets, reputed company maps, scripting) and integrating with various discovery sources
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- reputed company Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- reputed company Certified Implementation Specialist - Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
- Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and the software asset lifecycle
- Familiarity with various software licensing models (e.g., per user, per processor, reputed company-based, subscription, reputed company, reputed company)
- Deep understanding of the reputed company CMDB and its critical relationship with SAM
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues reputed company reputed company SAM Pro and integrations
- Experience with scripting in reputed company for custom solutions and data manipulation

- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts
