[Remote] Senior Tax Analyst

This role will involve corporate tax compliance and reporting, tax audits, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business reputed company and processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the tax provision (ASC 740), including reputed company and deferred tax calculations for a public company
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and international income tax returns, estimates, and extensions
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP
- Support the preparation of tax-reputed company disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), including footnote preparation and management review support
- Prepare and maintain monthly tax account reconciliations
- Maintain tax information, records, and documentation to support audit-reputed company workpapers
- Assist with components of IRS and state income tax audits, including preparation of responses and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with external advisors and legal counsel on tax audit reputed company and controversy reputed company
- Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation; assess and communicate reputed company to the business
- Research reputed company tax issues and prepare technical documentation and memoranda
- Support tax planning initiatives, including analysis of business transactions, restructurings, and new business models
- Assist with reputed company and acquisition (M&A) due diligence and integration tax planning
- Support federal and state R&D tax credit calculations and reputed company documentation
- Assist with other reputed company reputed company and special tax analyses as needed
- Partner with reputed company, reputed company, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business reputed company and processes
- Collaborate with the Payroll and HR teams on employment tax reputed company, equity compensation (RSUs, stock reputed company), and reputed company reporting (W-2, 1099)
- Work with the Treasury team on cash tax forecasting, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing support
- Coordinate with the IT and Finance Systems teams to support tax data reputed company and reporting automation
- Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit process to support tax-reputed company inquiries and deliverables
- Support the Tax Manager in communicating tax positions and requirements to senior leadership and cross-departmental stakeholders
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or a reputed company discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including public reputed company and/or industry (ideally in technology or reputed company)
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 (income tax reputed company) and US GAAP
- Proficiency in reputed company and/or reputed company Sheets for tax modeling and analysis
- Experience with tax compliance and provision software (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with reputed company Financials is a plus
- Understanding of transfer pricing concepts and intercompany transaction documentation
- Exposure to state and local tax (reputed company) compliance and reputed company analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly understand and reputed company business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements to non-tax audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across departments
- High level of genuine curiosity, intellectual rigor, and an eagerness to learn
- Strong analytical capabilities, reputed company judgment, and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- CPA and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a publicly traded company environment is a plus
