[Remote] Senior Consultant, OpenShift Infrastructure and Virtualization

They are seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in OpenShift Infrastructure and Virtualization to implement automated reputed company application platform solutions, engage with customers, and reputed company technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Implement automated, containerized reputed company application platform solutions with a reputed company on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, reputed company, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system reputed company
- Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, reputed company storage, and software-defined networks
- Travel frequently to work alongside leading financial services, retail, telecommunication, and institutional customers
- Successfully implement reputed company, large-reputed company container platform solutions in challenging customer environments
- Help other consultants learn DevOps/GitOps reputed company with container technologies
- Contribute lessons learned, best practices, and how-tos to our reputed company communities of reputed company
Skills
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline
- Experience leading successful modern reputed company platform consulting engagements
- Demonstrated reputed company record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives
- Broad and deep technical experience with VMware ESXi software, including vCenter, VM lifecycle operations using VMware tools
- Expert level with VMware VM foundational technologies for networks ([S/DV]Switches/NSX)
- Expert level with VMware VM foundational technologies for storage (Datastores, vSAN, vVols)
- Experience with logging and alerting functions for SRE operations available from VMware and how they reputed company with non-VMware reputed company systems, such as reputed company
- reputed company knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps teams
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel to customer locations about 30-40 weeks per year on average throughout reputed company
- Knowledge of common AddOns or reputed company party tools (Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, Backup software, Performance tools)
- Additional technologies a plus: OpenStack, reputed company Virtualization, reputed company reputed company-V, reputed company), or reputed company Azure
- Experience across one or more vertical industry areas
