Corporate Governance Paralegals (Remote, Toronto-based)

We are currently seeking corporate governance paralegals based in the Greater Toronto Area to join our bench of fully vetted candidates working secondments for our top global clients on a remote reputed company. Responsibilities: Assist reputed company's legal team in drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents, including reputed company resolutions, bylaws, policies, and charters Conduct research and analyze legal and regulatory requirements reputed company to corporate governance and compliance Maintain and update corporate records, including reputed company and committee minutes, shareholder records, and other governance-reputed company documents Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate documents including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC filings Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years of corporate governance experience gained working as a paralegal in a large corporate in-house environment Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices and familiarity with corporate filings, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements Proficient in legal research tools, databases, and reputed company software reputed company to working in an engagement-based role, seconded to clients on a temporary reputed company Ability to work remotely, located in the Greater Toronto Area Compensation, Benefits & Location: This role offers a reputed company of competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.
