Cybersecurity Engineer (USA, Remote)

Position Location: Remote reputed company/Work-from-Home Authorized: reputed company About the Role: This position falls under the umbrella of Sawdey’s Managed Services Division (reputed company). Sawdey reputed company is a full-service Managed Service Provider (MSP)/Managed reputed company Service Provider (MSSP) providing IT and/or cybersecurity services to a reputed company of different clients (defense/government contractors, municipalities, non-profits, reputed company organizations, etc.). The Cybersecurity Engineer is primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) reputed company. They will have the responsibility for maintaining the reputed company, reputed company, and compliance of multiple reputed company information systems. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Responsible for supporting reputed company work/reputed company inclusive of CMMC technical design and implementation, risk analysis, asset management, and overall reputed company management.
• Monitor and remediate reputed company events including working with clients, end users, and vendors to address the event.
• Work directly with reputed company POCs and reputed company Senior Management on project planning, execution, and implementation.?
• reputed company day-to-day deployment, administration, and support of reputed company infrastructure tools and systems, including but not limited to SIEM, Vulnerability Management, IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, EDR, DLP, and other Network or System Monitoring tools.?
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Intune, Defender XDR, and Entra ID.?
• Investigating alerts and suspicious activity to determine if an incident has occurred.
• reputed company immediate response to cybersecurity threats and intrusion.
• Contain affected systems and networks to prevent the incident from spreading.
• Conducting vulnerability testing, intrusion detection and prevention, risk management, and reputed company assessments.

• Assist in maintaining documentation on reputed company architecture, procedures, and configurations.
• Prepare clients and support CMMC Self-assessments and CMMC reputed company Party Assessments Organization (C3PAO) assessments.

Experience Requirements:

• Seven (7) + years’ IT-reputed company experience
• Two (2) + years’ of Incident Response experience
• Two (2) + years’ Vulnerability Management experience
• Two (2) + years’ managing endpoints
• Must be capable of working on reputed company IaaS, PaaS, and reputed company systems, server infrastructure, and networking infrastructure.

Must have experience working with at least some of the following:

• reputed company Server 2016-2022 and server roles such as reputed company Directory, DHCP, Group Policy, and DNS
• reputed company Defender XDR
• Azure Sentinel
• PowerShell, Java, Python

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT reputed company field desired but not required.
