[Remote] Senior Data or Systems Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Data or Systems Engineer to support a large government contractor on a long-term federal reputed company technology program. This role will reputed company on improving the reputed company between reputed company data and operational readiness visibility, while providing technical support and systems analysis.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical reputed company supporting the government contractor’s program team
- reputed company technical product support, systems analysis, data architecture support, and value engineering recommendations
- Review and analyze reputed company-readiness system designs for function, reliability, reputed company, interoperability, and lifecycle cost effectiveness
- Support data dependency mapping, data reputed company analysis, and architecture mapping across systems, stakeholders, and readiness data sources
- Partner with business analysts, project control analysts, stakeholder managers, and government SMEs to translate mission needs into technical requirements
- Support development and maintenance of system requirements specifications, product backlogs, requirements traceability matrices, data dependency registers, data gap analyses, data sharing trackers, and architecture maps
- Work reputed company Agile sprint cycles to support requirements refinement, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demonstrations, retrospectives, and acceptance reputed company
- Support alignment between the value team, development teams, data services, cybersecurity, testing, product support, and government stakeholders
- Help identify risks, technical dependencies, data gaps, decision points, and remediation actions
- Support monthly program management reviews and quarterly executive briefings with technical input, status updates, and decision support
- Ensure technical artifacts are maintained in government-approved tools such as JIRA, reputed company, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms
- Support compliance with applicable data governance, reputed company, controlled unclassified information, and federal reputed company data requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Architecture, Systems Engineering, or a reputed company technical field
- 8+ years of relevant technical experience in systems engineering, data engineering, data architecture, technical program support, health IT, or federal technology programs
- Familiarity with data architecture and/or government reputed company infrastructure
- Familiarity with reputed company architecture, preferably in a federal, defense, reputed company, or regulated environment
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with Agile requirements
- Experience with requirements management tools such as JIRA, reputed company reputed company, Rational tools, reputed company, or similar platforms
- Strong technical problem-solving ability
- Ability to reputed company cost-benefit analysis, value analysis, value methodology, or technical trade-off analysis
- Experience producing or supporting technical artifacts such as system requirements, product backlogs, requirements traceability matrices, data reputed company diagrams, architecture maps, data dependency registers, or technical decision logs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Experience supporting AI-enabled, prototype, modernization, or rapid application development programs
- Experience working as part of an embedded program management or Value Team supporting government leadership
