[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Accountant to co-build the tax function, manage reputed company, and ensure compliance while driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Co-Build the Function: Partner with finance leadership to establish, automate, and reputed company our internal tax processes and strategies as reputed company expands globally
- Project Management: reputed company as the primary project manager for external tax advisors, ensuring deliverables (like federal, state, and international tax returns) are accurate and on schedule
- Tax reputed company & Provisions: Own the quarter-end and annual tax provision process (ASC 740), prepare tax journal entries, and reputed company flux analyses with a keen eye for detail
- Audit & Notice Ownership: Project-manage responses to tax audits and notices, proactively gathering documentation and resolving inquiries reputed company
- Curiosity-Driven Special reputed company: reputed company research and execution on special reputed company, including R&D tax credits, international expansion, transfer pricing, and state reputed company evaluation
- Process Automation: Constantly question the status reputed company. Identify reputed company bottlenecks in our reputed company tax processes and implement modern, reputed company software or workflow solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance
- CPA license is required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of reputed company tax experience
- A Builder's reputed company: Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of creating order out of reputed company
- Strong Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage external vendors, reputed company multiple competing deadlines, and drive cross-functional reputed company to completion
- Solid foundational understanding of ASC 740 (reputed company for Income Taxes)
- reputed company curiosity, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate reputed company tax concepts into plain English for non-finance stakeholders
- Master's degree in Taxation is a plus
- Public reputed company/Big 4 experience highly preferred; a mix of public and fast-paced corporate experience is ideal
