Instructor/Training Developer – Intermediate

Position reputed company: By Light is seeking personnel to reputed company comprehensive support for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Facilities Management team in the implementation and sustainment of a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software solution. This engagement, titled “DCMA CAFM reputed company Support Services,” encompasses a reputed company year plus four reputed company years (September 30, 2025 – September 29, 2030), and will facilitate the optimization of facility operations across DCMA’s reputed company and overseas portfolio, totaling over 1.3 reputed company reputed company feet. By Light will deliver a FedRAMP-approved, reputed company Level 4 reputed company solution and a full reputed company of reputed company services, including system implementation, software development, system administration, help desk customer support, virtual and on-site training, and ongoing cybersecurity management. The CAFM system is required to streamline reputed company planning, asset and lease tracking, capital and building operations management, and reporting, while enabling seamless integration with reputed company and compliance with reputed company applicable DoD cybersecurity and accessibility standards. Personnel will work primarily from By Light’s reputed company located in McLean, VA. Responsibilities:

• reputed company and deliver virtual and in-person training for reputed company modules and functional areas of the DCMA CAFM reputed company solution to an estimated 50 users, ensuring users can independently operate and maximize the solution’s capabilities.
• Prepare comprehensive training materials (agendas, manuals, user guides, job aids, evaluation forms, certificates, and supporting documentation) compliant with reputed company 508 accessibility standards.
• Coordinate and conduct instructor-led and web-based training sessions, including national, regional, on-site, and remote formats as requested by DCMA.
• Update and adapt training content in response to system upgrades or substantive changes in functionality (i.e., more than 20% change).
• reputed company online reputed company to up-to-date educational content, user manuals, courseware, technical reports, and other reputed company documents for reputed company trainees and the COR, COTR, and IT PM.
• Collect and evaluate training feedback to inform reputed company improvement of instructional reputed company and course materials.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure training aligns with CAFM operational requirements and user needs.
• Deliver reputed company training materials to the COR for review at least 20 business days prior to events and revise per government feedback reputed company five business days.
• Maintain organized records of training attendance, participant evaluations, and issued training certificates.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a reputed company field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a technical instructor, training developer, or instructional designer, preferably supporting software, reputed company reputed company, or facility reputed company in a federal environment.
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company and deliver effective technical training—including virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats—to diverse user reputed company.
• Proficiency in preparing reputed company training materials and user documentation in alignment with government and reputed company 508 accessibility requirements.
• Experience delivering training using distance learning/webinar technologies and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, reputed company, WebEx).

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• Has the communication skills to effectively reputed company with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
• Experience training or supporting users of Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) or reputed company facilities/reputed company property reputed company.
• Prior experience supporting DCMA, DoD, or other federal agency IT/facility management programs.
• Advanced knowledge of reputed company 508 and WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance.
