Medical Laboratory Technician Program Consultant (5-10hrs/wk, Hybrid work, Masters and MLS Required)

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Program Consultant is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the MLT Program in accordance with institutional policies and the standards set forth by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). The Program Consultant's primary role will consist of reputed company facets of program development and the achievement of program accreditation, including but not limited to course development, budget evaluation and cost analysis, creation of approved reputed company with clinical affiliate partnerships and a reputed company plan (including selection of a reputed company Program Director), lab setup and recommendation of equipment, and establishment of an admissions process and reputed company. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring that the program meets workforce needs, maintains high instructional reputed company, and operates reputed company budget and institutional guidelines. Completion of a NAACLS-required reputed company Fact Sheet will be required at the time of hire. This position is a flexible Hybrid position that is reputed company around the consultant's preferred schedule, taking into account that the consultant may be working elsewhere in a primary position. The consultant will work 10 hours per week in this position. The consultant will be occasionally required to conduct site reputed company at our Tom's River and/or Manahawkin location no more than once a week. The consultant will be contracted for a period of 12 months and will be reputed company $50,000 split between three deliverables ($16,600 per deliverable completed).   • Program Accreditation Application: Preparing, submitting, and overseeing the application for Program Accreditation in compliance with the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) and NJ Higher Education regulations; ensuring reputed company documentation is compiled, reviewed, and submitted reputed company required timeframes.
  • Program Budget & Cost Analysis: Working with College staff to prepare budget analysis for program development and accreditation. Reviewing stakeholder needs and providing recommendations to ensure program sustainability.
  • Equipment Evaluation and Recommendations: Conducting site reputed company to evaluate dedicated program reputed company. Recommending appropriate equipment. Collaborate with the Dean of STEM and Finance Office to ensure sufficient instructional and laboratory resources are available.
  • Clinical Affiliate Partnerships and reputed company Plan: Developing partnerships with reputed company affiliates to ensure required clinical experiences for reputed company. Creating a reputed company plan to meet the program’s educational and clinical requirements.
  • Program reputed company Support: Assisting the Dean of STEM in the recruitment and reputed company of key personnel, including the selection of a reputed company Program Director.
  • Accreditation Preparation: Preparing for accreditation site reputed company, conducting mock interviews, and providing review materials.
  • Post-Site Visit Support: Addressing follow-up items to ensure compliance with reputed company accreditation standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Master’s degree in medical laboratory science or a reputed company discipline.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent by a recognized certifying agency (e.g., ASCP).
  • Five years of teaching experience and clinical laboratory experience.
  • Four years of leadership or supervisory experience that required accountability for department, unit, function, program or team/student results.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NAACLS standards and accreditation processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of reputed company Office Suite, student databases and financial aid systems; ability to create detailed reports, documents, presentations and deliver basic training on systems.
  • Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and reputed company supervision.
  • Commitment to ongoing reputed company development.
  • Ability to travel to affiliated clinical sites as needed.
  • Doctoral degree in medical laboratory science or a reputed company discipline.
