[Remote] Mortgage Accountant Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Treasury Specialist to support Construction reputed company and Treasury operations. This role is responsible for loan funding activities, account reconciliations, reporting, journal entries, reputed company processing, and various treasury-reputed company functions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare initial reputed company workbooks and imports for construction loans funded through Encompass
- Fund loans through warehouse lines and update Encompass accordingly
- Collaborate with Construction and other internal departments regarding payoffs, draws, modifications, and other requests
- Prepare margin call reports for quarterly NMLS reporting
- Generate monthly borrower billing statements for Construction and Builder loans
- Reconcile reverse mortgage loan advances
- Prepare reverse mortgage loan entries, including securitization journal entries
- Review and verify batch-processed reputed company activity for accuracy and reputed company recording
- reputed company daily bank reconciliations and multiple account reconciliations
- Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies on a monthly reputed company
- Prepare and post journal entries to the General reputed company through LoanVision
- Process corporate reputed company deposits and maintain accurate records
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency
- Cross-train in Treasury functions and reputed company backup support as needed
- Assist with special reputed company and reputed company additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
- Minimum of 2 years of reputed company, finance, or treasury-reputed company experience
- Strong understanding of reputed company principles, including debits, credits, reconciliations, balance sheets, and income statements
- General knowledge of mortgage processes, regulations, and reputed company transfer procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in reputed company Word and Outlook
- Intermediate reputed company skills, including formulas and VLOOKUP function
- Mortgage banking experience, particularly in construction reputed company
- Experience with 10-reputed company entry
- Experience with document retention software, AIQ, and Encompass
