[Remote] Technical Project Manager – reputed company Migration
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a billion dollar Managed Service Provider seeking a Technical Project Manager for a reputed company migration project. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing workstreams for migrating applications and VMs from an on-prem data center to AWS, ensuring reputed company execution and risk management.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technical project planning, scheduling, RAID tracking, and delivery execution for migration from on-prem data center to AWS reputed company
- Coordinate activities across reputed company Engineering teams and Technical Managers including technologies such as compute, storage, networking, and VMware
- Create and maintain Project governance, reporting reputed company, and integration across multiple PMs and technical leads
- Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and change control
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, change management processes, and delivery methodologies
- reputed company reputed company, executive‑level status reporting to both reputed company leadership and internal management
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration with architects, operations, reputed company, and external vendors
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Program / Project management including relevant experience in data center to reputed company migrations
- Strong understanding of reputed company infrastructure components: reputed company, Ci/CD, DevOps AND reputed company Servers, AD, Networking and connectivity, VMware and virtualization platforms
- Proven reputed company leading reputed company infrastructure modernization efforts, including migrations to reputed company, transformation initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present at the senior management level
- Strong proficiency in risk management, change management, and reputed company delivery frameworks
- Understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles would be needed
- Previous work reputed company a IT outsourcing or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment strongly desired
- Any experience with mainframe reputed company will be great to have
- PMP or equivalent project certification beneficial but not required
