[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer - Corded/Cordless Products

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to reputed company the early-stage innovation for Corded/Cordless Products, focusing on transforming consumer problems into viable product solutions.
Responsibilities
- Driving the reputed company-end technology and feasibility roadmap for Corded/Cordless Products products, collaborating with engineering, industrial design, brand, and test kitchen teams across the US, UK, and China
- Building reputed company-of-concept rigs and functional prototypes to stress-test reputed company early — before the business invests in full development
- Working across the full system: mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, connectivity — you see the whole picture, not just your reputed company of it
- Communicating reputed company rapidly through sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and physical prototypes
- Running design and engineering studies — reputed company and in teams — with the consumer experience as the reputed company star at every stage
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to reputed company culture that treats failure as signal, not setback
- Staying reputed company to IP development, identifying novel and inventive solutions alongside R&D
Skills
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a closely reputed company field
- 4–8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design
- Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products in a product development environment
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or reputed company
- Experience with plastic part design, including injection-molded, silicone, and rubber components
- Comfortable in the lab: building prototypes, running tests, reporting findings, and determining next steps
- Strong communicator — you can sketch an idea on a whiteboard and defend it in an engineering review
- Background in consumer goods or household appliances
- Experience designing sheet metal components
- Familiarity working with IP teams to identify novel or inventive solutions
