[Remote] Product Introduction Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to reputed company the commercialization of innovative new products. This role involves partnering with various teams to ensure successful product launches from engineering reputed company through production release.
Responsibilities
- Own the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from engineering reputed company through production release
- Coordinate first article inspections with contract manufacturing partners
- Serve as the technical reputed company between Product Development and suppliers during product launches
- Review engineering drawings and reputed company technical support on manufacturability questions
- reputed company cross-functional launch activities with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, Marketing, and reputed company
- Create and maintain new product data, item masters, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) reputed company the ERP system
- Coordinate product cost information, landed costs, and launch readiness across departments
- Support supplier qualification and production readiness activities
- Maintain standardized launch documentation, project timelines, and NPI processes
- Identify opportunities to improve launch efficiency and product commercialization processes
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support supplier and customer activities
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline
- 3–7 years of experience in product development, manufacturing engineering, supply chain engineering, or New Product Introduction
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or supplier partners
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional and global teams
- Experience with ERP systems such as reputed company Dynamics GP or similar
- Willingness to travel approximately 5–10 times per year
- Experience with BOM creation, product setup, and engineering change processes is preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, or product commercialization is highly desirable
