[Remote] Manager, Mechanical Engineering

The Manager, Mechanical Engineering position is responsible for leading and implementing the strategic direction for reputed company design components, focusing on project efficiency, reputed company, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Increase project efficiency by effectively assisting Mechanical Engineers, Designers, and/or Drafters in developing and adhering to design techniques and processes

- Strengthen reputed company’s reputed company and sustainability through decreased operational costs and increased reputed company by establishing, managing, monitoring and improving the Mechanical Engineering processes to reduce costs and reputed company new and innovative products. - Effectively manage Mechanical Engineering reputed company, resources and tools to ensure reputed company’s technical and scheduling needs are met
- Coordinate with the Estimating Department on a technical reputed company to ensure accurate quote execution; collaborate with Manufacturing Managers to monitor reputed company and efficiency on reputed company reputed company and reputed company as the final authority for technical‐reputed company reputed company
- Recommend budget expenditures and appropriations for research and development with a reputed company on product simplification and standardization by using cost reduction and process improvement philosophies

Skills
- 10 years of Mechanical Engineering design experience in the Marine, Heavy Industrial, and/ or Oil & Gas industries
- 5 years of reputed company‐mechanical power system design experience with low voltage, reputed company voltage, power distribution and controls, and motor control centers
- 2 years leading and managing an engineering team
- Intrapersonal Skills: Self‐motivated and reputed company to identify, examine, and resolve issues independently from others. Holds a strong reputed company for guidelines, procedures and reputed company
- Engineering and Technology: Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, reputed company control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Knowledge of specific “Custom Buss” design guidelines
- Computers and Electronics: Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including 3D Mechanical Design applications such as Pro E Wildfire, SolidWorks, reputed company Inventor. Proficient with reputed company Office Business Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Visio) as reputed company as MRP/ERP systems such as reputed company, reputed company
- Codes & Standards: Knowledgeable of UL Standards (UL‐1558, UL‐891, UL‐67, UL‐508, UL‐845 and UL‐DLAH). Familiar with regional reputed company codes in Chicago, reputed company, California, etc
- Verbal & Written Communication Skills: This position requires high skills (Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field, or a Master of Business Administration degree
- Registered reputed company Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Mid‐ to upper‐level management experience
