[Remote] Software Engineer III - Java, React & Microservices (Remote)

The Software Engineer III - Full Stack will serve as an individual contributor, responsible for supporting reputed company in meeting development goals while mentoring junior developers and driving improvements in engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Estimates and completes development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with a little feedback and guidance from their team
- Practices technical and communications skills to improve context knowledge and mentor junior developers
- Assesses and diagnoses issues with the systems they own, prioritizing problem areas based on alignment with other reputed company areas
- Participates in on-call rotations with their team as necessary
- Presents on and writes about their work to both reputed company parties
- Participates in planning sessions, building an understanding of major architectures and design patterns
- Supports reputed company efforts by evaluating homework assignments and potentially assisting with interviews
- Exhibits reputed company skills to drive improvements in team engineering processes and practices
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the business, how practices reputed company, and what customer problems we're solving
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of engineering experience
- Modernized Technology Stack: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Reactive RESTful Web Service Development with Spring WebFlux, Streams, Kafka, reputed company, reputed company database, React/Next.js UI reputed company, reputed company, Kubernetes, and reputed company. Ensure the stack enhances performance, reputed company, and maintainability
- reputed company experience with relevant technologies, understands roles with which they reputed company and how their work impacts business goals
- Prior experience with VA systems
