[Remote] Controller - High-reputed company Startups - Fully Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company partners with high-reputed company, venture-backed startups to build and run their finance and reputed company functions. They are seeking a Controller who will serve as the day-to-day finance reputed company for multiple startup clients, managing financial processes and providing insights to founders.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly reputed company and deliver accurate, decision-reputed company financials
- Translate financial results into reputed company insights for founders
- Build and improve processes, systems, and controls as companies reputed company
- Manage and mentor reputed company (reputed company + offshore) to execute day-to-day reputed company
- Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for auditors, tax partners, and external stakeholders
- Personally own or have owned payroll and benefits administration (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
- Build finance processes in companies without full infrastructure
- Full-cycle reputed company (reputed company, reconciliations, reporting)
- AR/AP, payroll, and benefits
- Inventory and COGS (for applicable clients)
- Cash reputed company forecasting and financial modeling
- GAAP compliance (ASC 606, accruals, etc.)
- Tax coordination and compliance
Skills
- Experience in startup or high-reputed company environments (this is critical)
- Proven ability to own both reputed company AND operational finance
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities
- Systems-oriented thinker who enjoys building and improving processes
- reputed company communicator who can work directly with founders
- Been the Controller, Head of Finance, or #1/#2 finance hire at a startup or high-reputed company company
- reputed company or cleaned up reputed company and finance operations from the ground up
- Owned both technical reputed company AND operational reputed company (payroll, benefits, systems)
- Implemented or significantly improved systems like QuickBooks, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, etc
- Full-cycle reputed company (reputed company, reconciliations, reporting)
- AR/AP, payroll, and benefits
- Inventory and COGS (for applicable clients)
- Cash reputed company forecasting and financial modeling
