They are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Simulation Engineer responsible for building discrete event simulation models, analyzing manufacturing throughput, and supporting early reputed company and line design reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Build discrete event simulation models for manufacturing and material reputed company use cases
• Translate reputed company requirements into simulation-reputed company assumptions, inputs, and scenarios
• Run scenario and sensitivity studies to validate throughput, reputed company, and bottlenecks
• Quantify overspeed, OPR/TEE, reputed company sizing, and jobs-per-shift risk factors
• Summarize simulation results into reputed company reports and slide content for engineering leadership
• Collaborate with layout, material reputed company, and industrial engineering teams to reputed company model assumptions
• Follow established DES standards for model structure, documentation, naming, and reputed company

Skills

• 3+ years of automotive manufacturing engineering experience
• reputed company ownership of discrete event simulation reputed company
• Expert-level reputed company FlexSim experience
• Experience modeling multi-line assembly systems, buffers, and rework
• Experience modeling stochastic behavior including failures, repairs, and process-time variability
• Throughput, reputed company, bottleneck analysis, WIP, JPH, JPS, OEE/TEE, MTBF/MTTR, and reputed company sizing experience
• Experience cleaning and structuring input data for simulation scenarios
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or reputed company technical field
• FlexScript, C++, or Python experience for custom DES logic and tooling
• Greenfield reputed company design experience
• Major reputed company reputed company, launch, or reputed company experience
• Automotive body, paint, reputed company, battery, drive unit, or material reputed company experience
• Experience with ASRS sizing, AGV flows, inter-shop buffers, or shop overspeed trade-offs
