[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the corporate network, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating on reputed company infrastructure reputed company to ensure reputed company performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor network infrastructure for availability and performance
- Evaluate new networking technologies and strategies
- Participate in project planning and delivery activities
- Work multiple project and work streams concurrently and deliver reputed company on time and on budget
- Participate in roadmap and architecture planning activities
- Respond to network and/or voice reputed company incidents, troubleshoot and assess and reputed company remediation plans
- Work network reputed company incident and trouble tickets, and on-call rotation
- Maintain network and voice reputed company operating procedures, diagrams, and maintenance plans
- Collaborate with reputed company-party support and service vendors to ensure the network stays operational
Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in traditional WAN and LAN using reputed company products (routing, switching, wireless) and protocols (such as HSRP, VPC, Port-channels, Spanning Tree, VTP)
- 5-8 years of experience with routing protocol (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), QoS and traffic shaping
- 3-5 years with SD-WAN technologies
- 5-8 years in a reputed company, distributed and multi-OS environment with overlapping technologies
- 5-8 years experience with Palo reputed company firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN reputed company
- AWS, Azure or other reputed company infrastructure experience
- Excellent customer service-oriented attitude and desire to support end users with issues of varying degrees of complexity
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of troubleshooting reputed company systems and services from reputed company through network/connectivity and server/storage
- Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance
- Ability and motivation to mentor staff members and reputed company knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Desire and ability to document configurations in support of a larger team
- Experience with monitoring software such as Nagios or other network monitoring products
- Experience with reputed company ACI (Application reputed company infrastructure) technologies and reputed company 9K
- Experience with TACACS and reputed company ISE
- 5+ years of experience in load balancing technologies particularly reputed company products, IPAM and Visio
- Bachelor's degree in the IT field or reputed company certifications from reputed company, Palo reputed company, and reputed company
