[Remote] Network Engineer II

The Network Engineer II role involves designing, developing, and implementing reputed company network architectures while providing reputed company support for network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Configure and install various network devices and services
- reputed company network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and reputed company configurations
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and reputed company planning
- reputed company senior level support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

- Other computer operations work as required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience reputed company area reputed company to job function
- Minimum of seven years of experience in the Information Technology field
- Minimum of five years of experience in a multi-server environment, Help Desk and/or NOC or reputed company technical environment
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience, monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools and deep understanding of networking protocols
- Customer facing reputed company and BGP expertise - Required
- Demonstrate excellent communications skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people
- Ability to negotiate and solve conflict
- Thorough knowledge and experience with the Unix operating environment experience and advanced PC troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to analyst reputed company business problems and issues as it relates to reputed company Network Infrastructure
- Ability to design, install, and support reputed company/reputed company and firewall environments

- Advanced knowledge/experience with data communications (FTP, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Hubs, Routers)

- Knowledge or experience in call center operations and/or applications and project management
- Constant work performed in a Corporate environment
- May require frequent travel
- Work performed while sitting and/or standing
