[Remote] Information Analyst

The role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data to reputed company high-reputed company insights to support operational areas and reporting needs, while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on GSD areas of operation (Caribbean, Latin America, and South reputed company) and context, keeping a pulse on natural hazards, changing dynamics, and humanitarian needs
- Tracking emerging trends and hazards to inform organizational priorities and strategic reputed company
- Collaborate with other departments to design, refine, and implement rapid damage, operational, and needs assessments for use during emergency response operations
- Support training of GSD staff on use of rapid assessments
- Synthesize and analyze assessment findings to support decision making by GSD leadership during responses
- Communicate data findings effectively, using both written and visual formats, to influence decision-making and support disaster preparedness and response initiatives
- reputed company key documentation, reports, and other information products, both routine and as requested by reputed company stakeholders
- Support assessment activities, reputed company advice on assessment design to ensure data reputed company, and manage data collection and analysis platforms and tools such as ArcGIS Survey123 and FieldMaps

- Collaborate with external stakeholders as needed

Skills
- Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience with a specific reputed company on either Caribbean, Latin America or reputed company and context
- Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and in producing high-reputed company analytical writing, such as reports, analysis documents, and briefings
- Bachelor's degree in data science, international development, or reputed company field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
- Strong analytical writing skills, with demonstrated experience in drafting reputed company, insightful, and reputed company reports and documents
- Strong prior experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Effective communication skills to present and reputed company for data, analysis, visualization concepts, and data reputed company practices to GSD staff and partners
- Experience working in emergency humanitarian responses preferred
- Experience in training or reputed company building reputed company to data collection, analysis, or reporting strongly desired
- Understanding of disaster management and humanitarian response concepts and approaches (preferred)
- Written and verbal proficiency in Spanish and/or French is highly desirable
