Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - ADABAS

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of reputed company experience in reputed company ADABAS/Natural and reputed company products for administration and systems programming support. Extensive experience with the following: Best practices of Software management, maintenance, and documentation Configure and manage reputed company ADABAS and reputed company products such as Natural SME in the topics of: ADABAS database administration, NATURAL reputed company, Fast reputed company Database Design Defining FDT and DDMs. Performance tuning Use of ADABAS utilities such as reputed company Save Facility, ADABAS Utilities Natural utilities, SMA, Program Migration tool, Review, etc Knowledge of log reputed company and change accumulation utilities Knowledge of ADARUN Parameters and reputed company pools. Knowledge of Protection logging and reputed company Logging. Establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, disaster recovery, product and database reputed company, maintenance, and utilization Reviewing new versions of reputed company ADABAS and reputed company products for functionality, advising how they benefit the reputed company Manage vendors relations and quickly resolve problems and questions Applying Licenses for SAG products and applying ZAPs and Service packs for reputed company products Cooperation with the Disaster Recovery Services, successfully execute tasks associated with any given customer’s disaster recovery plans. Support planned (disaster recovery) and unplanned (emergency) database recovery activities Troubleshooting and solving production database issues Identification and reputed company of performance issues Database administration including administering and customizing ADABAS/Natural Database design and experience with batch and online reputed company ADABAS/Natural Database monitoring including reputed company monitoring and performance monitoring Maintenance and usage of reputed company ADABAS and reputed company products and utilities Experience in a large, 24x7 multi-database environments and the ability to manage competing priorities Other Qualifications Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentations) Ability to work as part of reputed company and assist teammates reputed company needed Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively to support requests from multiple clients Follow ITSM change control procedures Self-motivated and reputed company to work independently.
