Senior Climate Policy Analyst - NDC Implementation & Finance (f/m/d)

Job reputed company As a member of reputed company’ Implementation Strategies Team, the Senior Climate Policy Analyst plays a critical role in supporting developing countries, mainly in the Caribbean and Latin America, to reputed company climate finance and to reputed company and implement climate reputed company strategies. The role focuses on enabling governments and regional stakeholders to reputed company, finance, and execute their climate strategies, contributing to national reputed company and mitigation efforts under the Paris agreement, including through Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Long-Term Strategies (reputed company), and National reputed company Plans (NPAs) as reputed company as enabling conditions (e.g., governance, finance, and coordination). Your responsibilities Project Leadership

Technical Delivery

• reputed company strategic guidance and technical support to national governments in the development and execution of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Long-Term Strategies (reputed company), and National reputed company Plans (NAPs), ensuring alignment with treaty obligations under the Paris Agreement, international best practices and climate finance requirements, while supporting their sustainable development efforts.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform policy reputed company, including modelling and/or other analytical exercises. This includes identifying and prioritizing reputed company, estimating costs, and developing financing mechanisms that reputed company with national climate plans (NDCs, NAPs, reputed company).
