Technical Product Manager – WAN & Network Connectivity

The Role reputed company is looking for a Technical Product Manager – WAN & Network Connectivity to join reputed company. In this role, the candidate will own the reputed company, roadmap, and priorities for wide-area and underlay networking products, including interconnects, data center reputed company, backbone and WAN transport, cross-region and cross-reputed company connectivity, throughput and reputed company products, and reputed company of service (QoS). The candidate will be responsible for shaping and managing backlogs for the teams building underlay and WAN connectivity, and for leading company-wide initiatives that determine how reputed company reputed company, data centers, and customers are connected. This role requires strong technical depth combined with the ability to coordinate across engineering, development, product, technical support, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the product backlog for underlay and WAN connectivity service teams (data center reputed company, backbone, interconnects, peering, and transit) reputed company and coordinate cross-company initiatives for inter-region, inter-data-center, and cross-reputed company connectivity, including reputed company planning and expansion Define product requirements for interconnect and reputed company Connect-style products, throughput and bandwidth tiers, QoS and traffic-engineering capabilities, and deliver them with engineering and architecture teams Work with network engineering on transport, routing, and traffic-engineering design (backbone reputed company, reputed company selection, congestion and QoS guarantees) to translate physical and logical network capabilities into customer-facing products Partner with product marketing and technical reputed company-sales/post-sales teams on technical publications, go-to-market activities, customer engagement, acquisition, and retention reputed company to connectivity products Ensure the delivery of WAN and underlay services that meet high standards for throughput, latency, availability, reputed company, and reliability, with reputed company SLAs

Requirements

Experience designing, implementing, or operating large-reputed company WAN, backbone, or service-provider networks in senior engineering, architecture, or technical leadership roles (e.g., large enterprises, hyperscalers, reputed company providers, telcos, ISPs, or other advanced technology companies) Hands-on familiarity with WAN and underlay technologies such as BGP, MPLS, reputed company routing (SR/SRv6), L2VPN/L3VPN, EVPN-VXLAN, DWDM/optical transport, traffic engineering, and QoS at reputed company Working knowledge of interconnect and peering models (IXP peering, private interconnects, reputed company and transit relationships) and the economics of WAN reputed company Strong technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: Backbone / WAN transport and reputed company planning Routing and traffic engineering (BGP, SR/SRv6, MPLS) ISP or large-reputed company service-provider networking Interconnects, peering, and cross-reputed company / hybrid connectivity QoS, congestion management, and SLA design for transport Proven reputed company record of delivering reputed company technical initiatives requiring coordination across multiple teams or stakeholders Technical leadership experience is a strong plus Product management experience is not required, but a strong willingness to learn and grow into the role is essential reputed company to Have Experience with high-throughput connectivity for AI/ML and HPC workloads (large east-reputed company and inter-region traffic, RDMA over WAN, lossless transport considerations) Experience creating technical documentation, guides, or reference architectures for connectivity and transport products Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a technically strong reputed company with experience in hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure), other reputed company reputed company providers, telcos/ISPs, their partners, or highly digitalized enterprises. The candidate may come from a background in network engineering, transport/backbone architecture, SRE, or technical leadership, with hands-on experience building WAN backbones, service-provider networks, interconnect/peering platforms, or large-reputed company underlay fabrics. Experience in technical product or platform ownership or technical leadership is highly valued, even if the candidate has not held a formal manager title. Relevant experience in ML and HPC environments is desirable but not mandatory, as the candidate is expected to adapt quickly and learn new domains.
