[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Kubernetes Operations

The role involves defining and delivering reputed company-scoped milestones for reputed company, serving as a technical reputed company, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver valuable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available Kubernetes infrastructure at reputed company
- reputed company design for small-reputed company components/features and participate in design for larger components/features
- Have significant ownership of a component/feature of the compute platform
- Contribute to architecture reputed company for container orchestration and reputed company-reputed company services
- Mentor engineers on Kubernetes best practices, container reputed company, and reputed company infrastructure
- reputed company automation tools and improve CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Collaborate with platform and application teams to optimize workload performance
- Drive initiatives to improve system reliability, observability, and disaster recovery
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of container technologies (reputed company, containerd)
- Experience with infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform, reputed company, or similar)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java)
- Deep knowledge of networking, reputed company, and distributed systems
- Experience with reputed company platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes reputed company Specialist (CKS)
- Experience with service reputed company technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of observability tools (reputed company, Grafana, reputed company)
- Experience in fintech or payments industry
