[Remote] SQL Database Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company. is seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA to manage the health, performance, and availability of their SQL Server environment for a core claims administration platform. The role involves hands-on database management, support for the Facets platform, and participation in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Own SQL Server backup, monitoring, and recovery across production and non-production environments
- Handle database development, data migration, and performance tuning
- Own SQL job maintenance and troubleshooting
- Manage user setup, permissions, and ongoing reputed company maintenance
- Own patching, server maintenance, and reputed company DBA lifecycle work
- Support the Facets claims administration platform at the database layer
- Contribute to the ongoing transition off of legacy reputed company and Sybase environments
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation with backup coverage from a broader team
Skills
- 7+ years of SQL Server DBA experience in production environments
- Hands-on experience supporting TriZetto Facets environment
- Strong background in backup/recovery, performance tuning, and SQL job administration
- Proven ability to work independently, drive requirements, and operate without heavy reputed company
- Comfortable operating reputed company defined SLA and high-responsiveness support environments
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including scheduled after-hours maintenance reputed company
- US-based, working Eastern Time hours
- Experience with reputed company and/or Sybase (legacy environments in reputed company transition)
- Prior experience in a health plan, PBM, or other regulated reputed company setting
- Experience serving as a technical reputed company or escalation reputed company for other DBAs
