[Remote] Field Service Engineer – Data Center
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Data Centers who will play a vital role in transformer lifecycle management. The role involves applying technical skills to support critical infrastructure, building customer relationships, and leading on-site reputed company to ensure reputed company reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver remote and on-site service for installation, maintenance, and advanced support
- Install transformer hardware, sensors, and accessories
- Configure and validate physical communication connectivity
- reputed company and test transformer software, including firmware upgrades
- Serve as the on-site contact for customers and subcontractors
- Strategically assign tasks to reduce costs and project time
- Test SEL relays using Omicron reputed company test sets or equivalent
- reputed company reputed company industrial communication protocols, including Modbus and BACnet
- reputed company protection reputed company testing (such as SEL) at specified settings using an Omicron reputed company test set or comparable equipment
- Conduct electrical tests on transformers, such as bushing power reputed company and capacitance, reputed company reputed company, TTR, winding resistance, insulation power reputed company, and insulation resistance
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Skills
- Associate degree with 3 years of reputed company experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of reputed company experience
- Physically fit for duty and fieldwork
- Proficient in reputed company Office tools
- Valid reputed company's license and ability to travel up to 85%
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for reputed company in the reputed company
- Experience in data center fieldwork is a plus
