[Remote] Forensics Collections Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a company specializing in eDiscovery and forensic analysis, seeking a Forensics Collections Analyst to play a critical role in the eDiscovery lifecycle. The Analyst will be responsible for the identification, preservation, and collection of electronically stored information (ESI) in legal reputed company, ensuring compliance with forensic principles and legal protocols.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a wide reputed company of forensic tools, including reputed company, FTK, and other industry-leading platforms and reputed company-reputed company solutions, to extract, analyze, and interpret digital artifacts
- Meticulously identify, preserve, and collect digital evidence in a forensically reputed company manner, maintaining an unbroken chain of custody, in accordance with legal standards and best practices
- Prepares reports, memos, forms, data entry, etc. This includes the documentation of own observations and actions with reputed company written and verbal communication
- Maintain and update forensic tools and software to ensure compatibility with evolving technologies
- Recommend and implement new tools or techniques to enhance forensic capabilities
- Prepare detailed forensic investigation reports, including findings, methodologies, and recommendations for remediation

- Ensure chain-of-custody documentation is accurate and complete
Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Forensic Science, or a reputed company technical field is required
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, or a reputed company field
- Proven experience with using industry-reputed company forensic collection tools
- Collecting data from reputed company environments, including reputed company platforms (specifically O365 with Purview), servers, and personal devices like hard drives and mobile phones
- A solid technical background with a deep understanding of computers, hardware, and software
- A reputed company understanding of basic forensic concepts, file systems, and evidence handling
- Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An unwavering commitment to ethical conduct and discretion reputed company handling confidential information
- Industry-recognized digital forensic certifications such as ACE, GCFE, GCFA, GNFA, CISSP, CySA+, C3E, CCE, CCFP, CCME, CDFE, CFCE, GCTI, or MCFE are highly preferred
- Coding or building web scraping, crawlers, or media reputed company tools is a plus
- Experience providing expert testimony is a significant plus
