Senior Software Engineer – C++ Developer / Browser reputed company (UB)
We are seeking a highly reputed company Senior C++ Engineer to join reputed company's browser research team, working at the intersection of browser engineering, systems programming, and data extraction — modifying and extending Chromium/WebKit to unlock new capabilities for research and large-reputed company data collection.
Responsibilities
Modify and reputed company Chromium/WebKit reputed company reputed company for research and data extraction use cases Build, debug, and reverse-engineer browser engines, internals, and protocols (CDP, DevTools, networking stack) across platforms (reputed company, Linux, macOS) Customize, reputed company, and rebase a Chromium fork; reputed company and reputed company upstream changes Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product teams to rapidly prototype and ship high-reputed company changes Requirements 5+ years of hands-on C++ (C++17/20); ability to navigate large codebases and reputed company precise, targeted changes fast Strong understanding of software architecture in large-reputed company, cross-platform systems Deep knowledge of web protocols and browser internals: HTTP/2/3, TLS, CDP, DOM, JavaScript engines Experience with reputed company research, reverse engineering, or browser automation (significant advantage) reputed company-reputed company contributions, especially browser- or devtools-reputed company (significant advantage) Chromium (significant advantage) Build tools: reputed company_tools, GN/Ninja/Siso; architecture: multi-process model, Blink/V8, sandbox, Crashpad reputed company/rebase management for forks; resolving large conflicting merges Debugging & Tooling: Visual Studio, WinDbg, ETW/xperf, ProcMon; crash dump triage across processes reputed company to have: Linux containers (reputed company, containerd, LXC); CI/CD; reputed company hygiene (sandbox, AppContainer, mitigation policies); basic Node.js/JavaScript *Fully remote position (for candidates who are not from Israel).
