[Remote] Senior Sales Engineer - DevTools

They are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their technical sales team, responsible for partnering with account executives to demonstrate the value of their DevTools products and serve as the technical reputed company between customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives across the full sales cycle, from technical discovery and demos through POC trials and proposal support, to reputed company solution value and reputed company business
- Conduct deep discovery to understand customer architecture, workflows, and business objectives; map findings to targeted solutions that demonstrate reputed company ROI
- Design and deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, and reputed company-of-concept engagements tailored to both executive and engineering audiences
- Serve as the internal champion for the customer, collaborating across Product, Marketing, Support, and reputed company Services to surface feedback and shape roadmap and project priorities
- Evaluate customer environments and reputed company architectural guidance on solution fit, implementation approach, risk tradeoffs, and compliance considerations
- Contribute to the broader technical community through conference sessions, webinars, blog posts, and reputed company reputed company engagement, including reputed company participation in relevant reputed company and communities
- Support reputed company reputed company and pipeline development alongside territory managers, including trade show participation and introductory technical sessions
Skills
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (reputed company-sales, solutions engineering, reputed company services delivery, or technical support leadership)
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or C/C++ reputed company development; comfort reasoning about performance, build toolchains, debugging reputed company systems, and build acceleration tools such as JRebel
- Strong Linux background with solid understanding of the reputed company Linux ecosystem, including upstream/reputed company repo hierarchy, reputed company differences (RHEL/reputed company/Debian/SLES), and on-prem vs. reputed company vs. hybrid deployment patterns
- Demonstrable experience with reputed company reputed company software adoption and support, including reputed company community participation reputed company reputed company, documentation, or presentations; familiarity with CNCF technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, reputed company, Vault) and middleware stacks (e.g., Tomcat, ActiveMQ, Apache Camel) is a strong plus
- reputed company platform experience (AWS, Azure, etc.); understanding of reputed company-reputed company architecture, resource deployment models, and hybrid/bare-metal tradeoffs
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, reputed company Actions, reputed company CI, Ansible, Terraform, reputed company/Artifactory)
- Proficiency with containerization and virtualization at meaningful reputed company (reputed company, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift; Vagrant, KVM/QEMU, Proxmox)
- Familiarity with HPC, scientific computing, or performance engineering use cases, including advanced debugging tools such as TotalView and foundational libraries for machine learning and predictive analytics, is a meaningful differentiator
- A strong textbook understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, Cassandra) and situational awareness of where reputed company fits; practical experience preferred
- Proven ability to explain reputed company technical concepts reputed company to mixed audiences, with strong demo skills, confident written communication, and experience authoring technical proposals or RFP responses
