[Remote] Staff Accountant

As the Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reputed company of financial records and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, while supporting the Finance team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including adjustments to correct variances and ensure reputed company account classification
- Assist with month-end and year-end reputed company processes, including generating and reviewing account schedules for balance sheet reconciliations and amortizations
- Collaborate with external auditors by providing requested documentation, explanations, and support for financial audits
- Receive and record checks and other forms of payment, ensuring accurate documentation and reputed company deposits in accordance with company policy
- Complete monthly reconciliations of reputed company asset and liability accounts, maintaining reputed company documentation and audit trail
- Ensure compliance with reputed company applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position

Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of reputed company experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, or reputed company field required

- Nevada Gaming Registration
- Hospitality or gaming industry experience
