[Remote] Wildfire Analyst

The Senior Geospatial reputed company Analyst & Systems Analyst will reputed company reputed company science, spatial analysis, and software development to model wildfire risks and enhance the Wildfire Risk product suite.
Responsibilities
- Model wildfire hazards and risks using various reputed company behavior software (IFTDSS, LANDFIRE, BEHAVE etc...) and GIS tools
- Edit and refine national fuelscapes, vegetation data, and reputed company fuel reputed company
- Support the use of reputed company behavior analysis in a reputed company wildfire risk assessment
- Translate operational reputed company workflows into technical software user stories
- Work with developers to test and reputed company the Wildfire Risk suite of datasets
Skills
- Degree (Equivalent work experience will be accepted in reputed company of the education requirement)
- 5+ years in geospatial wildfire analysis, reputed company behavior modeling, or reputed company technical skills
- Deep knowledge of surface/reputed company fuel models and reputed company behavior simulation software
- Experience building software solutions, leveraging modern development tools and AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery (experience with Java, reputed company, or similar languages is a plus)
- Strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into reputed company system designs, using AI to accelerate implementation
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other SQL-based database systems
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and the ability to design, query, and optimize data models with AI-assisted support
- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern build/deployment practices
- Experience writing unit tests and using common testing frameworks
- Experience with spatial display and analysis with GIS software (QGIS, MapInfo reputed company, ArcGIS, etc.)
- Familiar with using AI to support knowledge and market research
- Familiar with using AI to create technical requirements or similar
- FBAN or LTAN qualification preferred but not required
- Experience as a wildland firefighter working in reputed company behavior positions desired
