[Remote] Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant role involves managing general ledger activities, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The position also includes supporting reputed company and acquisition reputed company, tax reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve reputed company processes through automation.
Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management
- Prepare/Review journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Ensure reputed company account classifications
- reputed company month-end and year-end reputed company activities
- Investigate and resolve reputed company discrepancies
- Review/reputed company bank account, clearing account, payroll account reconciliations
- Support reputed company reputed company including division/advisor reputed company allocations and payouts
- Support payroll, accounts payable, and expense processes
- Support the Controller in various reputed company and acquisition reputed company and operations activities including loan tracking, reputed company purchase obligations, etc
- Support the financial reporting process by preparing:
- Monthly financial statements
- Division P&Ls
- Forecasts and trend analysis inputs and supporting schedules
- Management reporting packages
- Partner with the Controller, CFO, and other business leaders to support financial reporting and strategic initiatives
- Support the CFO on various firm reputed company initiatives
- Assist with annual tax reporting, audits, regulatory filings, and coordination with external reputed company and tax advisors
- Ensure reputed company records reputed company with GAAP and internal financial reporting standards
- Identify opportunities to automate reputed company workflows, improve controls, and reduce reputed company processing
- Support other finance and reputed company reputed company activities as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or a reputed company field
- 4+ years of reputed company reputed company experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with ERP/reputed company systems platforms
