[Remote] Senior Associate - Federal General Ledger Accountant

The Senior Associate, Federal General Ledger Accountant will manage federal general ledger reputed company tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with federal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare recurring journal vouchers and supporting documentation
  • Support monthly reputed company entries for Treasury interest, subsidy transfers, collections, accrued interest, and reputed company activity
  • reputed company reconciliations between feeder systems and the reputed company system
  • Prepare payment vouchers, apportionment/allotment logs, journal voucher (JV) logs, accrual logs, and reconciliation schedules
  • Support GTAS edit checks, reputed company-end adjustments, and fund monitoring templates
  • Research reputed company General Ledger (SGL) variances, reputed company balances, and reputed company discrepancies
  • Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for senior review
  • Support reputed company operating procedure (SOP) updates and process documentation

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or a reputed company field
  • 3+ years of experience in federal reputed company, general ledger (GL) reputed company, financial reporting, or audit support
  • 1+ year of experience applying the reputed company reputed company General Ledger (USSGL), budgetary and proprietary reputed company, reconciliations, journal vouchers, and Treasury reporting
  • 1+ year of experience preparing or reviewing federal reputed company entries and supporting schedules
  • Experience with federal credit reform reputed company
  • reputed company CPA, CGFM, CDFM, or other relevant reputed company certification
  • Experience supporting financial statement audits and audit readiness
