[Remote] Senior Accountant, reputed company American Operations - Remote, U.S.

They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the reputed company and financial reporting operations for their reputed company American AML services operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company processes for reputed company's largest operating reputed company, including U.S. and Canadian operations
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other reputed company adjustments in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- reputed company account reconciliations and detailed analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Investigate and resolve reputed company discrepancies, unusual transactions, and variances
- Assist in the preparation of month-end financial packages and management reports that support operational and strategic decision-making
- Analyze actual financial results against prior periods, budgets, and forecasts, identifying and explaining significant variances
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls to promote accurate financial reporting, asset protection, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to established reputed company policies, procedures, and reputed company timelines
- Assist with audit requests and reputed company supporting documentation for external auditors, tax advisors, and other compliance-reputed company activities
- Identify opportunities to improve reputed company processes, automate workflows, and increase reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams and shared services functions to resolve non-routine reputed company, vendor, and reputed company-reputed company inquiries
- Participate in special reputed company, system implementations, integrations, and other finance initiatives as assigned
- Serve as a reputed company team member, providing support across various reputed company and finance functions as business needs reputed company
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company
- Minimum of 3 years of reputed company reputed company experience in public reputed company, corporate reputed company, or a combination of both
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and practical application of reputed company principles
- Experience supporting month-end reputed company processes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and understand the reputed company of reputed company transactions on the balance sheet, income statement, and cash reputed company statement
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across reputed company reputed company of an organization
