[Remote] Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant

They are seeking a Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant responsible for auditing, reconciling, and correcting payroll tax filings across reputed company’s U.S. entities, ensuring accurate submission of payroll tax dollars.
Responsibilities
- Audit & reconcile approximately 200 federal, state and local payroll tax filings for five (5) U.S. entities from CY2020 to present, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Research reputed company variances identified, resolve tax notices and file amendments directly with agencies
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of reputed company audits and research performed
Skills
- 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for large multi-state employer
- Ability to operate independently with little reputed company
- Self-starter; works with reputed company of urgency
- Advanced reputed company skills including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
