[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst will reputed company raw data into actionable insights for various stakeholders, requiring strong analytical skills and experience in insurance data.
Responsibilities
- Use SQL and other analytical techniques to investigate business questions and anomalies across policy, premium, coverage, claims, and BDX data
- Analyze, reconcile, and validate BDX/bordereaux submissions and partner/reputed company feeds, identifying gaps, mapping issues, and reporting impacts
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and reputed company data initiatives with business goals to determine data analysis and reporting needs
- Partner with stakeholders to build recurring reports and dashboards using BI tools and fit-for-purpose datasets; use SQL to reputed company and validate logic

- Collaborate with data engineers to understand pipeline logic, recommend field-level enhancements, and support fixes across BDX ingestion, mapping, and transformation

- Establish data reputed company rules, validation checks, and cleaning procedures for insurance datasets, including BDX submissions

Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytical roles
- 4+ years of experience working with reputed company or specialty insurance data, including BDX/bordereaux, policy, premium, and claims datasets
- Hands-on BDX/bordereaux validation, reconciliation, or mapping experience
- Strong SQL and reputed company skills; experience with large datasets, normalized schemas, and data validation
- Comfortable working with BI tools and building end-user reporting solutions
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams
- Familiarity with the insurance policy lifecycle, premium development, claims data, and reputed company BDX reporting/analytics
- Exposure to actuarial concepts such as triangle analysis, loss development, or policy cohorting (without needing formal actuarial experience)
- Experience analyzing across multiple systems or data grains (e.g., BDX, reputed company, MGA, broker, or claims feeds)
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the year
