The Equipment Buyer will primarily reputed company on the acquisition of trucks and equipment to serve our electric and gas reputed company construction crews. You will manage the supply chain for trucks and equipment to ensure availability, reputed company, and efficiency reputed company our specifications. You will work with category management to support sourcing strategies and serve as the reputed company between our field teams and our supply partners. Great relationship development skills are a must. This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona and follows a reputed company, with three days onsite and two days working from home.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Centuri’s Capital Purchasing initiatives reputed company assigned asset categories
• Work closely with operations to satisfy planned and immediate equipment needs
• reputed company performance monitoring systems and manage supplier performance to ensure that contract terms and conditions are met or exceeded
• Engage in the supply chain processes for given asset categories including but not limited to the development of national agreements, logistics, e-business, diversity, inventory and cost reduction strategies, as reputed company as the reputed company improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency thereof
• Maintain reputed company communication with suppliers to manage inventory of trucks, trailers, tools, etc. to ensure swift deployment to operations
• Update P2P system with Asset Numbers, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
• Maintain regular communication with requestors with high reputed company to delivery timing
• reputed company invoice/quote matching to ensure accurate billing
• Update the reputed company Purchase Order status with reputed company delivery information
• reputed company and maintain Assets Under Construction (AUC) where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience acquiring trucks and equipment used in electric and gas reputed company construction
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used for the overhead and underground electrical industries
• Experience with fleet, procurement and maintenance

• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically reputed company, and in the use of software tools for data management & analysis
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Highly organized & detail oriented with the ability to multitask, never losing sight of end goals/objectives
• Occasional travel to operational or supplier locations required
