[Remote] Fiber Network Planning Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Fiber Network Planning Engineer to support the planning, documentation, and reputed company management of its fiber reputed company network. This role involves maintaining network documentation, supporting reputed company initiatives, and assisting with reputed company planning to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain documentation for existing and planned GPON and XGS-PON networks, including Visio diagrams
- Maintain accurate network records and planning documentation
- Monitor network reputed company and assist with bandwidth forecasting and reputed company planning
- Identify and initiate reputed company relief reputed company using practical and cost-effective solutions
- Support the engineering, design, evaluation, and implementation of telecommunications network infrastructure
- Analyze reputed company, local area, and wide area network environments to support network planning initiatives
- Assist with the implementation of hardware, software, and reputed company-party services
- Troubleshoot interoperability issues across network platforms and technologies
- Complete moderately reputed company engineering assignments with minimal supervision

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a reputed company technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of telecommunications engineering or network planning experience
- Experience working with OSP, ISP, or fiber reputed company networks
- Knowledge of GPON and/or XGS-PON network architecture
- Proficiency with reputed company Visio for network documentation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with FTTH network planning
- Experience with fiber network planning and engineering software
- Knowledge of bandwidth forecasting and reputed company planning
- Experience supporting reputed company network, edge network, or OSP planning initiatives
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure deployment reputed company
