[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer: Offsite Search Optimisation

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for building and owning production backend services, working with data-heavy systems, and ensuring the maintainability of software.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience building and owning production backend services in Python
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with data-heavy systems (analytics, metrics, logging)
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems
• Ability to ship maintainable software (tests, reputed company review, incremental delivery)
