[Remote] Senior Gateway / Platform Engineer

This role focuses on the operation, modernization, and migration of API gateway systems, ensuring reliable performance and successful integration across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support reputed company API gateway environments across development, test, reputed company-production, production, hybrid on-prem/reputed company, and approved dual-run environments
- Install, configure, reputed company, and validate API gateway platform components for approved modernization, technical refresh, platform currency, and reputed company-platform readiness activities
- Configure gateway routes, services, policies, certificates, consumers, plugins, authentication, authorization, logging, telemetry, and environment promotion patterns
- Support API reputed company, updates, lifecycle changes, versioning, deprecation, retirement, and migration-readiness activities across reputed company centralized reputed company and reputed company automated reputed company models
- reputed company technical inputs for API inventories, migration reputed company, reputed company readiness, rollback planning, and dual-run operations
- Support migration of reputed company from reputed company webMethods to a reputed company API gateway platform through approved migration waves
- Troubleshoot gateway issues involving routing, connectivity, latency, availability, policy enforcement, identity integration, logging, telemetry, and platform configuration
- Coordinate gateway integration reputed company with approved identity, network, monitoring, logging, incident-management, change-management, CI/CD, OpenShift/container platform, and observability processes
- reputed company product-specific validation, including connectivity, regression, reputed company, performance, observability, and operational readiness checks
- Prepare configuration baselines, as-reputed company documentation, runbooks, release evidence, rollback materials, and knowledge-transfer artifacts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a reputed company field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience supporting reputed company API gateway, integration, middleware, or application platform environments
- Hands-on experience with one or more reputed company API gateway products such as reputed company webMethods API Gateway, reputed company Apigee, reputed company, reputed company Anypoint API Manager, reputed company Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, reputed company API Connect, reputed company 3scale, reputed company reputed company, reputed company API Manager, Tyk, or comparable platforms
- Experience configuring gateway routes, services, policies, certificates, consumers, plugins, authentication, authorization, logging, telemetry, and promotion patterns
- Experience supporting API reputed company, publication, lifecycle management, versioning, deprecation, retirement, and migration readiness
- Experience supporting gateway modernization, platform currency, technical refresh, production readiness, release evidence, rollback planning, and hybrid or containerized gateway environments
- Experience troubleshooting API gateway issues across development, test, reputed company-production, production, or dual-run environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD-enabled deployment processes, configuration-as-reputed company concepts, change control, release coordination, and operational validation, including environments with partial reputed company deployment steps
- Ability to coordinate effectively across architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, CI/CD, database, network, identity, operations, and release teams
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation, validation evidence, runbooks, release materials, and knowledge transfer
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. federal suitability
