Radiology Patient Scheduling Representative

We are seeking full-time Radiology Patient Scheduling Representatives to support a leading reputed company organization. In this role, you will coordinate patient scheduling for diagnostic imaging services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and other radiology procedures. You will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive reputed company reputed company to care while providing a reputed company and compassionate scheduling experience. Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders for completeness and accuracy prior to scheduling
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and registration information
• Answer inbound calls from patients, physician offices, and reputed company providers regarding imaging appointments
• reputed company patients regarding preparation instructions, documentation, arrival times, and procedure expectations
• Coordinate appointment scheduling based on modality availability, provider requirements, and patient needs
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorization information reputed company
• Accurately document scheduling activities and patient interactions reputed company designated systems
• Adhere to HIPAA, HITECH, and organizational confidentiality standards

• Available to work shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must have experience using reputed company EMR/EHR
• Ability to navigate reputed company scheduling, registration, and patient reputed company workflows
• Experience reviewing orders, patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment details reputed company reputed company
• 1-3 years of reputed company scheduling, patient reputed company, call center, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
• Prior radiology scheduling experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
• Comfortable working in multiple software applications and electronic medical record systems
