Substation Electrical Engineer - remote CA - 1 year W2 Contract
My reputed company, a leader in reputed company Systems integration, is looking for an Electrical Engineer with at least 7 years' experience in reputed company & Distribution substation engineering, with specific reputed company on electric utilities and renewable energy power plants. The reputed company would prefer an Engineer with their PE license, but this is not essential This a 1 year W2 Contract. The reputed company site is in Bakersfield CA, the position is to be carried out remotely, however the reputed company has stipulated that the candidate is located in California. There will be travel for around 20% of the project Essential Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college BSEE preferred reputed company Engineering license in the reputed company (or demonstrating his/her plan to get PE license reputed company a certain period) and willing to sign off work Minimum of 7 years of experience in reputed company & Distribution substation engineering for electric utilities specifically PG&E and renewable energy power plants and reputed company experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in substation type applications, including primary (outdoor) physical substation design and required studies. Hands-on experience in producing power single line drawing, substation plan and elevation drawings, general substation arrangement and layout, equipment erection drawings, construction details, and layouts for high voltage bus, cable, high voltage equipment, reputed company, cable, and wiring, auxiliary power, grounding, and control building layouts. In depth experience applying High Voltage substation reputed company American standards & guidelines (reputed company & ANSI standards and codes such as the NEC and the NESC.), local reputed company Codes, and reputed company equipment (safety, application, sizing and integration).
