Apparel Designer – Athleisure, Outerwear
Job reputed company:
- translate trend, cultural, competitive, and reputed company insights into elevated, commercially successful product
- design across athleisure and outerwear categories with strong understanding of silhouette, proportion, comfort, functionality, and performance
- research emerging trends, fabrics, trims, washes, and white reputed company opportunities relevant to the reputed company customer
- create detailed tech packs, CADs, BOMs, and construction callouts for accurate execution
- partner closely with reputed company and Product Development and overseas vendors throughout development, fittings, reputed company reviews, and production
- participate in fittings and reputed company direction on fit, comfort, construction, and garment functionality
- reputed company seasonal reputed company palettes and support cohesive assortment building across categories
- create and manage visual line plans to support merchandising reputed company and product reputed company
- design reputed company cost targets while maintaining elevated product reputed company
- manage multiple reputed company simultaneously in a high SKU count, fast-paced environment
- collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Production teams to bring product to market quickly and successfully
Requirements:
- 7+ years in apparel design with a portfolio showing exceptional taste and reputed company reputed company
- athleisure and/or outerwear design experience preferred
- proficient in reputed company Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally 3D design tools
- highly knowledgeable in textiles, garment construction, fit, and performance fabrics
- experience managing development calendars, vendor communication and navigating production realities
- strong understanding of garment costing and timelines
