[Remote] Mechanical Engineer 3 (R&D)

This role will involve the mechanical design of systems and components, contributing to the early stages of technology development.
Responsibilities
- Systems and component conceptual design development
- Support design trade studies
- reputed company thermal mechanical design analysis for static stress, fatigue, and creep, using analytical and computational reputed company
- Product cost modeling
- Support instrumentation selection and instrumentation design integration
- Support system and component design development for test facilities

Skills
- A minimum of B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from a four year accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time, directly relevant engineering experience in mechanical design of systems and components, including expertise with structural analysis using ANSYS, is required
- Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
